The Phobians have surprisingly shown their head coach an early exit despite guiding them to finish in the top four in the just ended season
Accra Hearts of Oak have announced the sacking of head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani on Tuesday afternoon after leading them in just a season.
Dramani replaced Aboubakar Ouattara in a two-year deal but could only survive only eleven months in Accra. Under his stewardship, Hearts finished third in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season with 54 points, eight points behind champions Medeama whom they defeated 4-2 on final day of the campaign.
However, his performance has been disappointing, according to the club’s top hierarchy and a section of the supporters’ leadership mostly because of the infrastructural investments made.
“Accra Hearts of Oak SC wishes to announce that, following a comprehensive technical review of the 2025/26 football season, the Board has decided to part ways with the Technical Team led by Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani,” an official club’s statement read.
“The club extends its sincere appreciation to Mr.Dramani and his staff for their professionalism, commitment, and service. Under their guidance, Hearts of Oak secured a third-place finish in the just-ended season, and we acknowledge the discipline and effort they brought to the technical setup.
“As part ofthis transition, the team and players are currently in recess. The Board will,in due course, communicate the technical direction of the club as we continue to align our football philosophy with the long-term ambitions and identity ofAccra Hearts of Oak SC.
“We thank our cherished supporters for their loyalty and passion, and assure you that every decision taken is aimed at strengthening the club both on and off the pitch, with the ultimate goal of sustained domestic and continental success,” the statement added.
