For been guilty of charges by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Disciplinary Committee, in a game against Medeama SC at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kotoko has been slapped with GHS 10,000 fined.

Asante Kotoko SC is found culprit of misconduct during their Ghana Premier league clash at home with Medeama SC in November 2025, henced sanctioned.

The Porcupine Warriors were charged with failing to guarantee the safety of match officials throughout the fixture, which ended in a 2-2 draw following two late goals from the Reds.

The Committee’s findings revealed that Kotoko supporters threatened and attacked match officials, while the club also breached regulations by allowing unauthorised individuals into restricted zones of the stadium, including the tunnel area.

The DC has handed a fined of GHS 10,000 as penalty with 14 days to settle upon receiving notification from the association.
