Asante Kotoko will depart Ghana for Tunisia on Thursday ahead of their Champions League last round of preliminary qualifiers second leg against Etoile du Sahel in Sousse.

The team will have their final training sessions at the Baba Yara sports stadium this afternoon (Tuesday, 24th September) at 3:00pm and on Wednesday morning before setting off to the nation’s capital, Accra to begin the trip to Tunisia.

Coach Kjetill Zachariassen and his charges will arrive in Accra on Wednesday to settle down before making the trip to Tunisia on Thursday.

A contingent of 31 will make the trip to Tunisia, which include 18 players, 7 technical staff, 5 management members and a team photographer. An advance team of two are already in Tunisia to prepare the grounds for the arrival of the entire team.

The match has been scheduled for Sunday, 29th September, 2019 in Sousse, Tunisia.

Asante Kotoko won the first leg 2-0 in Kumasi, and look forward to getting the job done in Tunisia to book qualification to the group stage proper of the 2019/2020 CAF Champions League season.
