CHAN qualifiers: Black Galaxies set to leave Ghana for second leg against Benin

The Black Galaxies of Ghana will leave the country on Thursday, 28th July, 2022 for the second leg of the CHAN preliminary stage against Junior Squirrels of Benin.

The local boys led by Coach Annor Walker claimed a positive result on Sunday at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium after beating the Junior Squirrels 3 – 0 to enhance their chances of reaching the next stage.

The Black Galaxies put up a very clinical performance at home, with goals from Hearts of Oak trio Daniel Afriyieh Barnieh, Mohammed Alhassan and Gladson Awako.

The second leg is scheduled for July 30 in Cotonou as Ghana aims to finish the job and advance to the next stage of the CHAN qualifiers, where Nigeria awaits.
