CAF Women’s Champions League: Ghana’s Ampem Darkoa to face Nigerian side and others in Group B

The reigning champions of the Ghana Women’s Premier League, Ampem Darkoa Ladies will compete in Group B of the second edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers.

The Ghanaian ladies have been placed in same group with Burkina Faso’s USFA, Athleta FC from Togo and Bayelsa Queens of Nigeria.

Ampem Darkoa will commence their journey to the major tournament on August 13th, 2022.

The Ghanaian champions will book a ticket for the 2022/23 CAF Women’s Champions League should they secure a place in the final stage of the qualifier.

Ivory Coast will host the competition and the two finalists from Zone B will make it into the major tournament.

Elsewhere, AS Abidjan, AS Police from Nigeria and Espor from Benin will compete in group A.
