Both Egypt and Cameroon squandered a lot of glorious chances with Mohammed Salah squandering the greatest ever chance.

Egypt with their slow start of the tournament crashed out Ivory Coast at the quarter-finals to book a place in the last four.

Two Cameroon stars Vincent Aboubakar and Toko Ekambi who have scored all the goals for the hosts could not step forward to make their dream happen.

With the Indomitable Lions failing to keep their sixth title race alive after they squandered three of their penalties, Egypt will battle for their eight title of the tournament.

Abu Gabal is the game hero, standing tall to deny the host nation during the penalties.

It ended 3-1 in favour of Mohammed Salah’s side, keeping their eight title alive.

Egypt will play Senegal in a sensational AFCON final with two Liverpool stars Mane and Salah playing against each other on Sunday whiles Cameroon takes on Burkina Faso for the third and fourth place.
