Before the game, an Indian family coming together as PEPE FAN GROUP (Abhinav Vipin, Krish Vasandani, Divina Vasandani, Tina Vasandani and Rajnesh Vasandani) visited the Arsenal superstar Nicolas Pépé with a gift of drawn portrait. Aside that, the family thrown a massive support to the player through a banner whiles he was playing against Egypt.

The family(PEPE FAN CLUB) also praised Nicolas Pépé for his massive and impressive performance for both Arsenal and Ivory Coast.

“We are Nicolas Pepe’s fans from India.
We have no words to describe him. Absolutely kind hearted gentleman. Down to earth. No pride, no arrogance in him being such a big Arsenal superstar. (unlike other players)
We really wanted Ivc to win today. And play against our country Cameroon.

“God bless him always.” The family told Ghanaian sports journalist, Isaac Ganyo Tamakloe.

Mr Vasandani and family have been in Cameroon for the past twenty years. They are die hard fans of Arsenal and also a football loving family.
