The clash of titan’s between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Pharos of Egypt in Group D was the game many were difficult to predict, and so far the beautiful game in the tournament.
The Super Eagles demonstrated a strong performance to the world up against the seven times champions, Egypt.
The game began with both sides dominating but the Super Eagles opened up showing their hunger until the only goal from Kelechi Iheanacho at the 30th minute.
Nigeria had a lot of chances to extend their lead but they squandered all.
Egypt changed their style of play and introduced another tactics looking for the equalizer during the second half but they were soft at the attack, and not making use of their chances.
Nigeria later dominated between the last 20 minutes of the game and squandered a lot of great chance.
