The former army general, currently the President of Guinea has tasked the national team to try as much as possible to bring back home the trophy as a replacement of the money invested in them.
The ruler Mamadi Doumbouya made it known with motivations during the time of giving the national flag to the Silly Nationales ahead of the 2021 AFCON coming up in Cameroon.

Guinea is tied in Group B with the last edition’s runner-up Senegal, Malawi, and Zimbabwe.
The team will make open their journey against Malawi on January 10, 2021, at the Kouekong Stadium, Bafoussam.
