FC Barcelona teenager Abdessamad Ezzalzouli (19) known as Abde has decided to represent North African giants Morocco at the forthcoming 2021 AFCON despite the pressure from the Spanish Football Federation to ditch the Atlas Lions.
Ezzalzouli confirmed his decision on Instagram.
The teenager has made five appearances for the Morocco U20 national team with five goals between 2020 and 2021.
Recently, ex-Barcelona midfielder Ilaix Moriba switched his national allegiance from Spain to represent Guinea at the AFCON.
