“It’s not over until next match is over” – Yussif Bassigi, Hasaacas Ladies Coach

Hasacass Ladies head coach, Yussif Bassigi has revealed his mission for the club after their 3-0 victory over AS Mande in the maiden edition of the TotalEnergies Women’s Champions League.

They now top Group A with six points after two games. They have an outstanding game to play against Wadi Degla in Group A but have been the first team to reach the semi-final stage in the history of the tournament.

In a post-match interview, coach Bassigi revealed the mindset of the opponent and how he managed to overcome them. He also revealed his mission ahead of the Wadi Degla clash to complete their scintillating performance in the group.

“Our opponent came with a mindset to frustrate our tactical play, but with time we could ruin this for them and play our way”.

“It’s not over until the next match is over. Our full focus is on the next match against Wadi Degla and this match is now behind us”.

“They will address the match with all seriousness but so will we. We know how important this game is.” He stated.
