The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have announced officials for Asante Kotoko Champions League preliminary round last qualifier first against Etoile Sportive du Sahel at the Baba Yara sports stadium in Kumasi.
Asante Kotoko will host the 2007 CAF Champions League winners in the first leg of the Champions League qualifier at the Baba Yara sports stadium on Sunday, September 15, 2019, and the continent football governing body has named Liberian officials to take charge of the crucial match.
Liberia’s Hassen Corneh has been appointed the centre referee for the crunch encounter and would be assisted by fellow countrymen Sekon S. Kanneh Jnr and Joel Wonka Doe as lines one and two respectively.
The fourth official position is occupied by Jerry Yekeh while the renowned Nigerian football administrator, Alhaji Babagana Kalli will be the match commissioner.
The ten times Tunisian giants Etoile is regarded as favourites for the cracker but Asante Kotoko is well composed and appreciates the fact that the favourite tag is off their shoulders and they position themselves to produce a shocking scoreline in the game.
