With barely two weeks to the start of the FIFA World Cup 2026, football fever is reaching new heights, not only on the pitch but also in fashion and lifestyle culture.

As the world’s biggest sporting event approaches, major brands, designers, and artists have unveiled a wave of football-inspired collections, underlining the growing influence of the game beyond stadiums. From sportswear giants to luxury labels and streetwear brands, the World Cup has become a major source of creative inspiration.

For Ghanaian fans back home and across the world, there is added excitement. The Black Stars have featured prominently in several international collections, highlighting Ghana’s enduring appeal on the global football stage.

Following the release of Puma’s World Cup-themed collection, Ghana has also been included in Corteiz’s latest football-inspired capsule. The London-based streetwear brand selected 11 competing nations for its World Cup project, with Ghana making the cut alongside some of football’s biggest countries. The first release is scheduled to arrive on June 5.

Beyond Ghana’s representation, several global brands have launched special collections to celebrate the tournament.

Notable FIFA World Cup 2026-Inspired Collections

1. Corteiz World Cup Collection

The London streetwear label pays tribute to 11 participating nations, including Ghana, in one of the most anticipated football-fashion releases ahead of the tournament.

2. Adidas x Thrasher x Argentina

Adidas teamed up with skateboarding magazine Thrasher and reigning world champions Argentina for a unique crossover blending football and skate culture.

 

3. Nike Football X2 Collection

Nike collaborated with leading creatives and brands from around the world to produce country-specific collections:

4. Kith & Messi for Adidas Football

Kith partnered with Adidas and Lionel Messi to celebrate three milestones: Messi’s sixth World Cup appearance, his 20-year relationship with Adidas, and Kith’s 15th anniversary.

5. Gap for FIFA World Cup

American apparel giant Gap has also joined the World Cup celebrations with a football-inspired collection designed for supporters ahead of the tournament.

6. Puma x Salehe Bembury World Cup Collection

Puma collaborated with renowned designer Salehe Bembury on a vibrant collection inspired by football culture and the World Cup.


7. OVO World Cup Collection

Drake’s OVO brand entered the World Cup conversation with a range of football-themed apparel and accessories.

8. Adidas Retro Collection

Adidas looked to the past, reviving classic German football aesthetics through a retro-inspired collection.

9. Kappa x Tunisia World Cup Collection

Kappa celebrated Tunisia’s return to the global stage with a special range dedicated to the North African nation.

10. Coca-Cola x adidas Originals FIFA World Cup 26™️ Collection

Two global giants, Coca-Cola and adidas Originals, joined forces to create a special collection commemorating the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
