Christopher Baah Bonsu has been named in Ghana’s final squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, capping off a remarkable year for the talented winger.
The 21-year-old enjoyed an impressive season with Saudi Pro League side Al Qadsiah, establishing himself as a regular starter. In an explosive season in the Gulf region, he featured in 32 league matches, contributing three goals and providing 13 assists while helping his side compete strongly throughout the campaign.
His consistent performances did not go unnoticed as he has been rewarded with a place in Carlos Queiroz’s final squad, marking another major milestone in his rapidly progressing career.
SAY Sports Consult, the sports media and marketing agency representing Baah Bonsu, has welcomed the call-up with excitement. The agency celebrated the achievement by producing a documentary-style World Cup announcement video, highlighting the winger’s journey to football’s biggest stage.

Baah Bonsu will now turn his attention to Ghana’s friendly match against Wales, on Tuesday, June 2, at the 6:45pm at Cardiff City Stadium.
With Ghana paired with England, Panama and Croatia in Group L at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the game with Wales present as a big opportunity for players to further fine tune and make a case for a starting role at the mundial which kicks off in a fortnight.
