The former shot-stopper has launched a scathing attack on the club’s management for their unprofessional approach towards players
Former Nations FC goalkeeper Kofi Mensah is hoping the club survives their relegation fight on final day of Ghana Premier League but believes a section of the management members unprofessional conducts have attributed to their current woes.
The 29-year-old spent two seasons with the Abrankese-based club before joining Al-Ahli Wad Madani in Sudan in August 2025 and continues to follow his former side in their bid to avoid the drop this season.
Nations surprisingly lost 1-0 at home to Vision FC last weekend in a game that would have secured their spot in the top-flight next season. At the moment, their destiny is not in their hands as they would have to defeat Karela United away in Tamale and hope one of Young Apostles, Swedru All Blacks and Vision FC drop points.
“All the best to Nations dis (this) weekend,” he posted on Facebook.
“Some of the management are the problem. Masa, dey don’t know how to manage players bro,” he added.

Should Nations pick a point, their fate will largely depend on the outcome of the other games which will be played simultaneously on Sunday afternoon.
In other related news, Kotoko supporters arrested a footballer referee who was allegedly acting as an agent for Swedru All Blacks to influence some Kotoko players to play match of convenience in their bid to survive relegation in Kumasi.
Both Kotoko and All Blacks have yet not come out to officially talk about the reports.
