Following their exit from the competition, it has been disclosed that a Ghanaian who is believed to be a Phobian revealed all the ‘JUJU’ secrets of the GPL side to the visitors.

Hearts of Oak were aiming to claim a 4-0 scoreline in the second leg fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium but the game proved to be a tough fixture as they claimed a narrow win over the Scorpions.

They tried all their best to make a mark but the one goal victory was not enough for them to advance.

According to reports, Hearts of Oak applied ‘JUJU’ at the dressing room of the visitors and on the pitch to overturn the scoreline but it was disclosed to the Malian side through a Ghanaian.

In a trending video, a man who was in Hearts of Oak Jersey was captured, pouring water into one of the goalposts before the game.

A short while after the water-pouring antics, four ball boys entered the pitch with balls and began to shoot into the same goal.

The gesture was implied to represent Hearts of Oak scoring four goals in the game to overturn the scoreline.

Unfortunately, the gods may have been on sabbatical that day as Hearts only scored one goal. The aggregate, therefore, ended 3-1 in favour of Bamako, who sailed through to the group stage.
