Hearts of Oak forward, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh scored a stunning hat-trick as Black Galaxies thrashed Accra-based lower side, Mighty Jet Football Club 8-0 in a friendly match at the Accra Sports stadium on Thursday morning.
The tactics and the talents of the lower side were not able to match the Local Boys who are in preparations ahead of their final CHAN qualifier double header against Nigeria.
Annor Walker’s hardworking boys outscored their opponent with Daniel Afriyie Barnieh in the first half.
On the other side, Maxwell Abbey Quaye and Omar Bashiru got a brace whiles Seidu registered a goal to complete the 8-goal win.
Daniel Afriyie Barnieh was also on target for the team yesterday when they defeated Africa Talent united 3-0 in a friendly game yesterday.
The game featured the likes of goalkeeper Stephen Kwaku of Great, Mohammed Alhassan, David Abagna Sandan, Dennis Korsah, Dominic Nsobila and others.
The Black Galaxies will still play some friendlies as they continue their preparation towards the CHAN qualifier game against Nigeria in the upcoming days.
