The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has released the official program outline for the Black Stars ahead of their crucial FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers against Chad and Mali.

The matches, scheduled for September 4 and September 8, will be Matchday 7 and 8 of the qualifying campaign.

The team is expected to assemble in Accra from Sunday, August 31, through Monday, September 1.

Their first training session will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on September 1, and will be open to both the media and the public.

On September 2, the Black Stars will continue preparations at the same venue before traveling to N’Djamena for their away clash with Chad.

They will hold their final training session in N’Djamena on September 3, ahead of the game on September 4.

The squad returns to Accra on September 5 for a recovery session, which will be open to the media and public.

Training will continue behind closed doors on September 6, with another session on September 7, where the first 15 minutes will be open to the media.

The Black Stars will then face Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, September 8, in what is expected to be a high-profile encounter.

Ghana currently sits in a tight qualification race for the 2026 World Cup, making both fixtures critical to their chances of booking a place at the tournament in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
