Morocco, who staged a comeback to beat Guinea 2-1 fielded a strong side and took only seven minutes to open the scoring through Amir Richardson.

Ismail Saibari doubled Morocco’s advantage six minutes later before Yanis Begraoui added the third goal on the 30th minute.

Ghana stepped up in the final minutes of the first half as Salim Adams scored their only goal before halftime.

Back from recess, Barcelona’s Abde continued to be at the heart of his fans after scoring his third goal of the tournament to make it 4 -1, before Yanis Begraoui made it 5-1 with his second goal of the game.

It was a moment of unforgettable for Ghana, who entered the game without defeat after four games.

Ghana must against Guinea, who defeated Congo earlier in the day and have three points, to progress to the next stage.

The North African giants will also face Congo in the final group game. The Congolese are already out of the competition after suffering a 3-1 defeat to Guinea.
