Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed the date, kick-off time and venue for the CAF Confederations Cup second preliminary round second leg clash between Hearts of Oak and AS Real Bamako.
The second leg clash will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at the Accra Sports Stadium at 15:00 GMT (3:00PM local time).
Hearts of Oak who lost the first-leg encounter to the Malian giants will play as host in the reverse fixture. CAF Hearts of Oak and GTV have agreed to broadcast the game on Sunday through Ghana Television Sports Plus, Ghanasportspage.com can confirm.
The Scorpions cruised to a 3-0 victory on last weekend at Stade du Bamako to enhance their chances of securing a place in the group stage of the competition.
Real Bamako broke the deadlock in the 11th minute of the game before scoring a 30th minute goal to make it 2-0 before the break.
The Phobians came into the 2nd-half looking to get back in the encounter but were unable to find the back of the net, despite several goal attempts.
The home side added to their tally in the 74th minute, to put the game out of the reach of Hearts of Oak.
