The Porcupine Warriors’ woeful performance at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday has sparked cries for a change in CEO from many supporters.
Kotoko fans called for Nana Yaw Amponsah to be sacked after their defeat against Rail Club du Kadiogo on Sunday in the CAF Champions League preliminary round.
The Ghanaian champions were stunned at home after Kadiogo scored early through a brilliant freekick from Bassika Syla to make it a 1-1 aggregate scoreline following Kotoko’s 1-0 win in the first leg.
The Burkunabé giants went on to eliminate the Ghanaian champions on penalties with a 3-1 scoreline.
And the defeat against Kadiogo put some Kotoko fans over the edge when it comes to Nana Yaw Amponsah, the CEO of the club.
