Sad as ‘Top Porcupine’ misses Benin trip for Kadiogo; Traveling Squad named

The Porcupine Warriors will miss the services of Cameronian international, Frank Etouga Mbella in their CAF Champions League first game.

Etouga, last season’s top scorer for the GPL winners is not fit for the game as confirmed by the medical team of the club and he will out for the game.

Asante kotoko will start their Champions League campaign against Burkinabé side Rail Club du Kadiogo. The game was suppose to be played in Ivory Coast but has now been moved to Benin, General Mathieu kerekou stadium in Cotonou on Monday.

The contingents will leave the shores of the country this morning for the game.

Ahead of the clash, Coach Seydou Zerbo has named 22-man squad for the trip.

In all, three goalkeepers, seven defenders, five midfielders and seven attackers will make the trip to play the Burkinabé side.
