Head Coach of the Black Galaxies, Annor Walker has released his final squad for the 2023 TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers.
The Great Olympics boss a month ago handed call-up to over 35 players to commence preparations for the qualifiers at the Ghana Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram. The squad was later curtailed to 28 weeks ago.
However, Annor Walker and his technical team have trimmed the list to 25 players for the game against Benin.
The team is made up of the likes of Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Imoro Ibrabim, Mohammed Alhassan, Gladson Awako, Dennis Korsah, Danlad Ibrabim, Abdulai Iddrisu, Razak Kassim and so on.
The Black Galaxies will play Benin in the preliminary stage of the qualifiers in search of a ticket to the biennial competition scheduled for Algeria in January 2023.
Ghana has failed to qualify for the tournament in the last three editions and will hope to make another appearance this time around. The Black Stars ‘B’ finished 2nd in 2009 and 2014.
