Central African Republic coach Raoul Savoy admits it will be difficult to beat a team like Ghana ahead of their upcoming fixture today.

The Black Stars are rebuilding their squad after an abysmal performance at the recent AFCON in Cameroon which saw them being eliminated from the group stage.

The four-time champions have been drawn in a lightweight group that includes Angola, Madagascar and Central African Republic who are fighting for a maiden spot in the African championship.

The new team led by Otto Addo are yet to concede a defeat after three games, having brushed off Nigeria to grab a ticket for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.

Raoul Savoy, C.A.R head coach has revealed that his team are aiming to pick a point today when they face each other in Angola but it will be more difficult for them.

The Wild Beast will host the first fixture at the Estadio da Cidadela, in Angola at exactly 13:00GMT.

The Spanish-Swish football manager, however remains positive of making history to secure their first ever spot in the next AFCON in Ivory Coast. He admits his boys are inexperienced unlike Ghana that include players with high profiles on the terrain.

On paper Ghana are having the upper to clinch victory this afternoon to extend the lead whiles Coach Raoul Savoy is aiming to pick a point to remain focused for the qualification race.

“There’s nothing special. You know we have to concentrate in all sense because we have to work hard. We have a young team, inexperienced that’s why we have to work more. Of course with the likes of Ghana, we saw some videos, we talked about the team but very shortly because as am talking to you I prefer to concentrate on my team and what we have to achieve today to reach a good result.

“You know in football you can beat any team on any day but for that, we need to be very confident and we have to do all our jobs in the best way we can; And you know we beat Nigeria in Lagos some couple of months ago. We were lucky of course, worked hard, and when it was time for us to score to finish the game we did it”, Coach Raul discussed with Ghanasportspage.com.

“It will be a very difficult game, of course, Ghana are far better than us at the player level, at the team level but we never know in 90 minutes of football and in the story of this game we show a lot of surprises that’s why today we are going to start 0-0 and then we see the story of the game. We are right in all the way so that maybe we can reach something at the end.”

Black Stars commenced their journey on Wednesday with a 3-0 triumph over Madagascar in Cape Coast.

The team departed Ghana for Angola with a squad of 25 players, including three goalkeepers, seven defenders, six midfielders, and nine attackers.

Central African Republic tasted a 2-1 defeat to their landlords, Angola.

Ghana looks favorite for this afternoon’s fixture to extend the lead on the log in group E.
