Ghana’s second Group E matchday 2 game in the ongoing 2023 AFCON qualifiers against Central African Republic has ended in stalemate at the Estadio 11 de Novembro.

Ghana started the game as the better side with few chances as Kudus Mohammed once again scored a stunning curler to put Ghana on the lead during the 17th minute.

The Wild Beast showed a character as revealed by their head coach, Raoul Savoy prior to the game and finally got themselves back on level terms on the 40th minute through Karl Namnganda who struck into the net beautifully after receiving a decent pass from midfield.

Ghana coach Otto Addo approached the game with different set up, maintaining only three players that made a start in the last game against Madagascar.

Elsewhere, Angola also drew 1-1 with Madagascar in their second group game in Group E.

Ghana and Angola are sitting at the top with four points whiles bottom sides also have two points on the log.
