The group phase of the qualifiers for the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations, Cote d’Ivoire 2023 started on Wednesday with the Black Stars picking a 3-0 triumph over the Barea men of Madagascar in Cape Coast.

Ghana embarked on the trip with a contingent of 25 players which features three goalkeepers, seven defenders six midfielders, and nine attackers.

The Wild Beast head into the game with a 2-0 defeat to their landlords, Angola in the Group E opener but they are highly optimistic about making history when they lock horns with the four-time African champions tomorrow.
