In his reply to the question of apology, Kurt emphasized, “I think I have said already that the performance of our players is not well expected. I understand how bad we are all hurt including me, am a Ghanaian and it beholds on all of us to speak our minds but also beholds on all of us to stay together as a family, help each other during this period and build the team that will truly represent Ghana.” Says Kurt.

In five weeks, the national team will play at the World Cup qualifiers play-offs to book a place for the major tournament in Qatar.

Ghanaians may ask, is this the team to represent Ghana with this abysmal performance?
