As reported earlier yesterday, many sources disclosed that the Ghana Football Association has reached an agreement with the Netherlands based-club to release the midfielder for the rest of Ghana’s game in the competition.

Kudus Mohammed is currently under treatment since picking up a knock during Ghana’s World Cup qualifier game South Africa in November last year.

The 21-year old midfielder was named among Ghana’s final squad for the tournament in Cameroon.

He was supposed to join the team for preparations before the tournament but Ajax turned down the proposal and took him to the team’s mid-season tour in Portugal.

His last game was against South Africa in November 2021 when he suffered a rib injury. The Ajax midfielder has returned to training and even joined the club’s mid-season camp in Portugal. Regardless of the injury, Kudus was still added to Ghana’s AFCON final squad.
