Following the win, Mr Bortey who was present at the stadium walked into the Ghanaian Champions’ changing room to dash an amount of GH10,000 to the players.

Also, head coach Samuel Boadu was handed an unspecified amount.

Hearts of Oak despite the win have a tall mountain to climb in the second leg after failing to get more goal.

Ghanaian clubs have managed to qualify 8 times in two legged games out of 22 after winning 1-0 at home.

The Phobians travel to Casablanca next Sunday for the return as they hope to pull a surprise on last season’s semi finalist at the Stade Mohammed V stadium.
