Nurudeen Abdul-Aziz hopeful of Hearts of Oak correcting the wrongs before hosting CI Kamsar

Hearts of Oak midfielder, Abdul-Aziz Nurudeen is optimistic that the Phobians will knock things into shape before their CAF Champions League fixture against Club Industrial Kamsar on September 19.

Hearts have lost two consecutive friendlies against Togolese side Asko de Kara(1-0) and Accra Lions FC(3-2), which has sparked doubts over the team beating their Guinean counterparts on Sunday.

Reacting to the recent defeat against Lions, Nurudeen called for teamwork ahead of the crucial encounter.

“It’s been a tough few days,” he confessed. “It’s been a bit up and down but it’s like that sometimes. It’s been an alright month but, for now, it’s all about sticking together and finding a way to win games especially our Continental tie against the Guineans on Sunday,” he told phobianews.com

“We always bounce back when we don’t do so well and I think it’s another one of those times. We have to come together as a team, get back to the basics, and win games.”

In spite of the defeats, Hearts of Oak have won two of their four friendlies so far and look forward to playing international friendly before the Kamsar tie this weekend.
