Hearts of Oak to leave Ghana on Monday for ASKO De KARA friendly in Togo

Hearts of Oak are set to depart Ghana on Monday, September 6 to neighbouring country Togo to face Togolese Champions ASKO DE KARA in an international friendly.

The game is said to condition the Rainbow side ahead of their CAF Champions League preliminary round first leg encounter against Guinean club CI Kamsar on September 12.

A close source has revealed to ghanasportspage.com that the Phobians will travel by bus in the early hours of Monday- the day of the match with a 32-man squad.

Our source further revealed that the team are expected to return to Ghana right after the game at the Togo National Stadium with kickoff scheduled at 4:00PM local time.

Captain Fatawu Mohammed, goalkeeper Richard Attah and forward Daniel Afriyie will all miss the trip due to a National Team assignment with the Black Stars in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
